Holiday Contribution Provides Help for the Hungry

Center Valley, Pennsylvania – December 8, 2009 – As they have done for the past several years, the shareholders of Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba have made a charitable contribution in lieu of sending holiday cards to clients. This year the emergency assistance program of ProJeCt of Easton was the recipient. ProJeCt's Interfaith Food Pantry, the largest food pantry in Northampton County, provides two-to-three day supplies of food to more than 400 households.

The organization's ASSIST program provides emergency interventions for families and individuals in crisis and implements case management plans to move them toward self-sufficiency. An Emergency Assistance Program staff person is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to handle emergency shelter needs.

"Given the current economic climate, we know people in our community are struggling. We sincerely hope our contribution helps the individuals and families served by ProJeCt of Easton to enjoy a happier and healthier holiday season," stated Joe Bubba, Managing Shareholder.

Previous recipients of this contribution include the Sixth Street Shelter, Victory House, New Bethany Ministries and Trinity Soup Kitchen.
