Seminar for Small & Family Owned Businesses Hosted by Law Firm
Allentown, Pa. – April 24, 2008 – Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, P.C., recently hosted a business seminar in the Great Hall at Lehigh Country Club. The seminar, “Transitioning Your Business While Keeping the Peace,” was offered to a select group of clients and advisors who own small businesses or advise owners of small and family owned businesses.
The more than 50 guests learned about the importance of shareholder agreements, partnerships and buy/sell agreements from Jane Long, Chair of the Corporate, Business & Banking department. Joe Bubba, Managing Partner, shared some real-life “horror stories” about clients who did not prepare the appropriate agreements and Ed Lentz, Chair of the Estate Planning & Administration department discussed a variety of options to consider before transferring businesses to family members. Because the seminar was so well attended and the guests found the information useful and informative, the firm plans to host similar presentations in the future.
