FLB Attorneys Participate in “Law Day”
May 16, 2008 – Center Valley, Pennsylvania – On May 1, 2008, Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba attorneys participated in the national celebration of “Law Day”, a federally designated day for the celebration of equality and justice under law.
Associate Steven T. Boell served on the Northampton County Bar Association Law Day Committee and participated in the event they hosted for local middle school students at the Northampton County Government Center. The event included a courthouse tour and various presentations by the law enforcement officers relating to crime scene investigation, gang awareness and a demonstration by the local canine unit. Attorney Boell volunteered his time as a tour guide for Nitschman Middle School.
Associate Lisa A. Dougherty hosted Brownie Troop 6229 at the firm’s Center Valley office. Attorney Dougherty conducted a tour and spoke on the practice of law as a career. At the conclusion of the event, Attorney Dougherty presented the students with their career merit badge.
A number of shareholders and associates attended the Lehigh County Bar Association “Law Day Dinner”. The keynote speaker was Justice Seamus Mccaffrey of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
