Law Firm Shareholder Named to Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival Board of Directors
June 23, 2008 – Center Valley, Pennsylvania – Douglas J. Smillie, Chair of the Litigation department and the Executive Committee of Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, P.C., has been appointed to the Board of Directors of The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival at DeSales University.
Founded in 1991, the Festival is a professional theatre company and the Official Shakespeare Festival of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The organization’s mission is to “enrich, inspire, engage and entertain the widest possible audience through first-rate professional productions of classical and contemporary plays, with a core commitment to the works of Shakespeare and other master dramatists…”
Mr. Smillie replaces Timothy D. Charelsworth on the Board. Mr. Charlesworth, Shareholder in the Corporate, Business & Banking department at Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, has served on the Board since 1995.
