Regional Law Firm Grows to 24 Lawyers
Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba Hires New Labor and Employment Associate
October 1, 2009 – Center Valley, Pennsylvania – Deirdre J. Kamber has joined Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, P.C., as an associate attorney in the Labor and Employment group. The addition of Ms. Kamber brings the total number of attorneys at the law firm to 24.
Ms. Kamber earned her Bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University, a distinguished Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Limerick, Ireland, and her Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law. She holds certificates in HIPAA compliance, in diversity training from the EEOC, and in “Operation Safe Surf,” a program designed to educate children about Internet safety. Ms. Kamber is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New York and the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Kamber’s practice focuses on the fields of employment, labor and health care privacy including federal and state anti-discrimination law, wages and statutory benefits, military reemployment, labor relations, school law, HIPAA, unemployment compensation and contracts. Douglas J. Smillie, Chair of the Litigation department, is pleased with Ms. Kamber’s arrival. “We are excited to have Deirdre join our team; her knowledge and experience complement our existing Employment and Labor group and will allow us to continue to provide the highest quality services to our clients,” stated Smillie.
In addition to her law practice, Ms. Kamber serves as Diversity Chair for the Society for Human Resource Management Lehigh Valley, as a legal advisor for the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and as an adjunct professor at Cedar Crest College, Allentown. IN 2006 Ms. Kamber was recognized as one of the “Top Twenty Under Forty” by the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal.
Ms. Kamber has been practicing law for approximately ten years, most recently at King Spry Herman Freund & Faul, LLC.
