Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba Expands Health Care Group
November 2, 2009 – Center Valley, Pennsylvania – John P. Rice has joined Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, P.C., as an associate attorney in the Health Care group. The addition of Mr. Rice brings the total number of attorneys at the law firm to 25.
Mr. Rice earned his Bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Prior to law school Mr. Rice participated in the JET Program teaching English as a foreign language at a junior high school in Kyoto, Japan. Most recently Mr. Rice worked in Pittsburgh at the Jewish Health care Foundation and interned at Horty, Springer & Mattern, P.C., a national law firm devoted exclusively to health law and health care organizations.
Mr. Rice’s practice will focus primarily on physician-hospital relations and medical staff matters. “We are so pleased that John has joined the firm in our health care group. Health care law is a growing practice area and John is a great compliment to our existing health care team,” stated Joseph A. Bubba, Managing Shareholder and Chair of the Health Care Group.
