Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba to Host Pennsylvania's Trade Representatives from China

March 30, 2010 – Center Valley, Pennsylvania – The Center Valley law office of Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba will be the venue for one-on-one meetings between local companies and Pennsylvania's Trade Representatives from Beijing and Shanghai. The Lehigh Export Network (LEXNET) and Lehigh University's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are hosting the Pennsylvania Overseas Trade Representative Offices (Beijing and Shanghai) on Thursday, April 15, 2010.

LEXNET is a cooperative alliance developed to enable Lehigh Valley small businesses expand their sales into international markets and enhance their export capacity. A major component of this activity is the results-oriented collaborative effort between business, government, regional export assistance networks and state foreign offices.

SBDC provides consulting services and educational programs to entrepreneurs wanting to start or grow a small business. SBDC consultants work with entrepreneurs to help develop business propositions, shape business plans, or investigate funding issues.

Timothy D. Charlesworth, a shareholder at Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba whose practice focuses largely on International Law remarked "as a sponsor of SBDC and board member of LEXNET, I am pleased our firm is serving as the venue for this event. This is a great opportunity for Lehigh Valley businesses to discuss their objectives for the China markets."

Charlesworth is also President of the World Trade Club of the Lehigh Valley and is Regional Coordinator for the U.S. Department of Commerce's "Export Legal Assistance Network." He regularly represents companies in many facets of International Law and Trade.

For more information about this event and to register for your pre-arranged one-on-one appointment, please contact Cora Landis, SBDC, at 610-758-4350 or initdp@lehigh.edu.
