FLB attorneys to discuss Regulatory Trip-Ups That Could Derail Commercial Real Estate Projects
January 25, 2012 – Center Valley, Pennsylvania – Kate Durso and Erich Schock, shareholders of Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba, PC, and members of the firm's Land Use, Development & Zoning & Real Estate group, will speak to a group of commercial real estate professionals on February 22.
Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Lehigh Valley will present the lunch and learn session entitled "Regulatory Trip-Ups That Could Derail Your Project: Fast Facts You Need To Know." The "lunch and learn" event will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the conference room of Principal Investments on the third floor of The Frederick Group building at 3500 Winchester Road in Allentown.
The presenters will discuss changes in the regulatory landscape that could throw a monkey wrench into development plans. Professionals involved in the design, financing, construction, leasing and management of projects will benefit from attending the session.
Attendees will learn about:
- The Permit Extension Act
- Changes in NPDES permitting
- Developmental restrictions on land with high-quality streams and other issues in the DEP's new manual
- PennDOT's new E-Permitting process
In addition to Ms. Durso and Mr. Schock, presenters will include two representatives from Barry Isett & Associates: Robert Cox, PE, PLS - Senior Civil Project Manager, and Ryan Kern, PE - Senior Traffic Engineer.
