Joseph Bubba Honored By CF Foundation for Philanthropic Commitment

Joseph A. Bubba, Managing Shareholder and Chair of the Firm’s Healthcare Group, was honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for his commitment to community and philanthropy. Mr. Bubba received The Harris Weinstein Philanthropic Commitment Award, established in 2015 in memory of Harris Weinstein. Mr. Weinstein founded the Northeast PA Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 1984 when his son Brett was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF). The award is given to individuals for their outstanding commitment to charities in their communities. Mr. Bubba received the award at the Organization’s March 21 Breath of Life Gala in Allentown.

Mr. Bubba and the Firm have been actively involved in community and philanthropic efforts for the past 25 years. He has been a long-time supporter of The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He was instrumental in the establishment of “Pediatric Cancer Day,” an annual event for families touched by pediatric cancer sponsored by the Firm, Just Born, Inc. and Dorney Park. Mr. Bubba currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Miller-Keystone Blood Center. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the University of Pittsburgh School of Law/Health Law Certification Program and is a member of The Leonard Pool Society.
