Firm Profile
Health Care

For nearly 20 years, Fitzpatrick Lentz and Bubba, P.C., has represented, counseled, and worked extensively with hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgical facilities (ASF’s), and other health care providers on all aspects of health care law. In addition, the firm has provided its services to physician practices and individual heath care professionals. We have served clients throughout the eastern and central regions of Pennsylvania and western New Jersey with respect to this unique area of law.

Our health care department provides both corporate and litigation services to its health care clients. Our corporate work includes negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts involving hospitals, practitioners and/or private practice groups; reviewing, drafting, and providing advice on Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations in compliance with federal and state statutes, regulations, and JCAHO accrediting requirements; and preparing various employment related contracts, forms, authorizations, policies, and procedures.

We regularly advise and represent both health care institutions and practitioners involved in Fair Hearings and appellate review. We handle all aspects of state and federal litigation related to anti-trust/competition, breach of contract, discrimination, and other related employment matters. The department also provides consultation regarding billing and reimbursement, potential fraud and abuse implications involved with transactions, as well as anti-kickback issues.

Our health care attorneys participate in various health law organizations including the Health Law Section of the American Bar Association and American Health Lawyers Association. Our attorneys frequently present lectures and educational seminars at local, state, and national conferences, as well as local and regional health law associations and societies regarding developments within and related to the health law field.
