John Rice Drafting Commercial Agreements of Medical Office Space
March 2, 2010 — John P. Rice has recently been actively involved in the drafting of numerous commercial agreements for over 30,000 square feet of medical office space. In addition to complicated tenant "fit-out" arrangements, the agreements required analysis of complex health care-related legal requirements, including health care referral law (The Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law), patient privacy law (HIPAA) and environmental law (medical waste disposal regulations).
