William D. Rathbone is an attorney in the Firm’s Real Estate, Land Use & Development practice. His practice areas include land use, development, zoning and land development issues and submissions. In addition, Mr. Rathbone’s practice focuses on other commercial real estate matters, including property acquisitions and dispositions, financing, and leasing. He has represented numerous landowners and developers throughout Eastern Pennsylvania and has experience negotiating complex real estate transactions.
Mr. Rathbone also handles on a wide range of corporate and business matters, such as corporate governance, securities law, M&A, and corporate finance. As a member of the Firm’s Corporate, Business & Banking and Mergers & Acquisitions Groups, he routinely advises clients on Pennsylvania business entity law in connection with a variety of transactions. Mr. Rathbone also has experience structuring private securities offerings, and regularly counsels clients as to federal securities law and Pennsylvania Blue Sky law implications. He has successfully represented clients in securities and fiduciary matters and other corporate disputes
