Jacob M. Sitman, Shareholder and Chair of the firm’s Employment Law & Labor Relations Group, was included in the 2025 Power List for Lawyers and Lobbyists by Lehigh Valley Business.
The list, which was announced on June 16, 2025, honors “those who shape our communities and influence our quality of life through the legal foundations on which our society was built and depends upon.”
For more than a decade, Jake has led FLB’s Employment Law & Labor Relations team. This team advises and represents employers in matters involing human resources, labor and employment laws, as well as protection of business assets.
In his practice, Jake counsels and trains business owners, executives and HR managers in crisis situations, ways to reduce the risk of legal claims, and how to make smart, strategic and cost-effective personnel-related decisions. He drafts employment agreements, personnel policies and represents employers in federal and state court, defending them against claims of discrimination, harassment, whistleblower, breach of contract, wrongful discharge, workplace safety claims and more. He has also been successful in wage and hour, noncompete and trade secret litigation and appeals.
Recently, Jake was also named to the 2025 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list.
