Just as the Firm was kicking off its 30th Anniversary celebrations and “30 Acts of Giving” fundraising, FLB hosted a team of 25 participants in this year’s Women’s 5K Classic. FLB picked up the cost of the registrations for our employees or family members of employees, helping raise $1000 for the Classic’s mission.

The Women’s 5K Classic is an annual race to bring awareness to and raise money for all those affected by cancer.  It has been around since 1993, and “since the very first dollar was raised more than $2.95 million has been invested in the Lehigh Valley community and the Women’s 5K Classic has touched the lives of over 13,000 women and their families. Each and every dollar raised by the Women’s 5K Classic remains in the Lehigh Valley and supports local programs, organizations and institutions.”

As part of FLB’s 30th Anniversary, we decided to give back to the community that has helped us through the years. Our “30 Acts of Giving” campaign entailed collecting donations for and volunteering our time at 30 local charitable organizations.
