During the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, FLB threw a painting party! As part of our “30 Acts of Giving” campaign, FLB donated paint and painting supplies to the YWCA of Allentown. Then a team of FLB attorneys, employees and family members spent the morning painting 1,500 sq. ft.  of the YWCA’s new “Perfect Fit” store.

YWCA of Allentown is a nonprofit organization, recently separated from the YMCA of Allentown.  Through programs such the Perfect Fit for Working Women, which offers career clothing and job-skills training to women entering the workforce, and the Allentown High School Enrichment Program, which pairs Lehigh University students with Allentown School District students for athletic and academic betterment, the YWCA works to eliminate racism and empower women throughout the region.

As part of FLB’s 30th Anniversary, we decided to give back to the community that has helped us through the years. Our “30 Acts of Giving” campaign entailed collecting donations for and volunteering our time at 30 local charitable organizations.
