Stephanie A. Kobal is a shareholder in the Firm’s Real Estate, Land Use & Development and Employment and Labor Law groups. Throughout her career, Ms. Kobal has worked with organizations of all types and sizes to negotiate complex land development contracts, zoning approvals, and leases. She consistently represents clients in front of government agencies and municipalities regarding land use and entitlements for real estate ventures.

In addition, Ms. Kobal’s practice extends to Employment Law. She helps ensure transparency between employers and their employees during the contract development process, and counsels employers on compliance with federal, state and local laws concerning individual employment rights, workplace investigations, covenants not-to-compete, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and personnel policies.

Ms. Kobal has based her practice on the core values of strategy, practicality and honesty, which is evident in her relationships with her clients. She understands that each client has his or her own unique needs and goals, and tailors her approach to fit every individual that approaches her.

A native to the Lehigh Valley, Ms. Kobal is an avid runner and the “World’s Most Okayest” skier.

  • Successfully obtained special exception approval for the expansion of a nonprofit.
  • Successfully obtained zoning variance for an industrial use
  • Regularly appear before townships, boroughs and cities within Lehigh, Northampton, Berks and Bucks counties to obtain land development approvals.
  • Successfully negotiated zoning amendment to allow for the re-adaptive use of a historic structure.
  • Representation with respect to every aspect of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, development, financing, construction and utilization.
  • Handling of tax exemption hearings and trials on behalf of nonprofit organizations.
