Reading is one of the greatest gifts a person can give and be given. That is why FLB donated dozens of books for our “30 Acts of Giving” campaign. More than 150 new and gently used books from a range of reading levels were collected and given to the Cops ‘n’ Kids Reading Room in Easton. From “Fancy Nancy” to “Percy Jackson,” we hope these books can help bring a little magic this holiday season.

Cops ‘n’ Kids “in collaboration with the Easton Area Community Center, provides a comfortable and welcoming place for children and families to read together, share stories, and select up to three free books to take home on every visit.  Police officers, high school and college students, community volunteers, and various community organizations participate in the programs that are provided in the Reading Room.”

As part of FLB’s 30th Anniversary, we decided to give back to the community that has helped us through the years. Our “30 Acts of Giving” campaign entailed collecting donations for and volunteering our time at 30 local charitable organizations.
